Art in Review; Tamy Ben-Tor from the New York Times

Exploration in the Domain of Idiocy Zach Feuer 530 West 24th Street, Chelsea Through Jan. 14 With her chameleonesque ability to transform herself into hilarious characters, the Israeli performance artist Tamy Ben-Tor could have a career in television like that of the similarly gifted Tracey Ullman.
Unfortunately, though it has good moments, the video featured in the main gallery looks like a labored effort to be more serious. Titled ''Girls Beware,'' it is an obscure and not very funny montage spoofing an Israeli public-service message advising girls to beware of Arab seducers and abductors.
Things are much funnier in the back gallery, where the perhaps less momentous theme is self-absorption. In a series of brief, talking-head portraits, Ms. Ben-Tor plays a hysterical construction contractor and a profoundly narcissistic conceptual artist who may remind you of more than one pretentious careerist you've known. In the astoundingly irreverent ''Women Talk About Adolf Hitler,'' a series of characters deliver harebrained thoughts about Hitler.
During the run of her exhibition, Ms. Ben-Tor is doing regular live performances. Last month she performed at the Upper East Side gallery Salon 94, playing, among other characters, a European professor discoursing on xenophobia and anti-Semitism and an American gospel singer singing out against Holocaust denial.
Ms. Ben-Tor may be too smart for the mainstream entertainment industry, but unlike, say, the young Matthew Barney, she is not so invested in the conventions of gallery art as to convince you that the visual art world is where she belongs. It will be interesting to see where she goes from here. KEN JOHNSON

I am opening like a russian doll, many many layers many differnet personalityes. The russian dolls with my heads on are going to be the logo for my tv show.
I having been looking at split personalittyes, here is a bit from an artical.
Split Personality
A split personality has nothing to do with schizophrenia, but more with Multiple Personality Syndrome (MPS). This is a psychiatric disorder that causes the sufferer's personality to divide into sub personalities, also known as alters. The alters have their own memory, and don't know of each other's existence. Consequently, the sufferer has episodes of amnesia.
The development of MPS is almost always triggered by severe abuse, including sexual abuse. During the traumatic experience the person becomes dissociated from the experience, becomes 'not there', and an alter personality takes over the pain. For every traumatic experience an alter is created. The alternating of the alters is easily recognized by the changing of the voice of the sufferer.
MPS is one of the most severe forms of defence mechanisms used to cope with extremely traumatic experiences.
Since 1994, MPS has been officially classified as Dissociative Identity Disorder in the DSM-IV2 as the alters are more identities, rather than personalities, based on dissociations.
As MPS (or DID) is believed to be very rare, not much research has been done. Therefore, not much is known of the prognosis. It is considered that the later the development of the alters takes place, the better. Another outcome of research is the belief that:
... after the age of 50, the alternating of the alters would spontaneously reduce3.
The experience gained by research is that sufferers who had re-integrated alters have a better recovery rate than sufferers with still divided alters. The integration of the alters is always accomplished by many years of intensive psychotherapy.
This clip is from a longer film, all about personalityes and different earas. It is one of my favorite films, its very important because of the nice characther work, and the developments in the shots.

I went to see a Cindy Sherman exhibition in Copenhagen. She fascinates me and i find her really useful to lean towards. She has an amazing power in the way she works with her surroundings. I keeps popping up in my brain, especially when i dressed up as Frida Carlo.
I my land of dreams I live like a queen, eating colours and breathing in marmelade.

All year round i wear my heart on my sleeve, and i fall deep into the mist of the brewing day.
